Hi, I'm planning on getting a Sony Wega 42" Projection LCD TV. I'm just wondering if any1 out there has this kind of TV? And also uses it for playing PS2 and XBOX games? How's the picture? Will playback display easily convert my games to 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen viewing? Also how's the Analog display. Because I only have that signal available for regular cable right now, so just wanted to know how the playback was? Thank You.

first would not advise letting the tv make your 4:3 ps2 16:9 it just cuts to much off that you may need (top and bottom) also it is a grat tv. you should love your ames on it however remember that the lamp life is only around 6000-9000 hrs but it has a cheaper lamp in it around $200. Also because it has a digital tuner if your local stations are broadcasting digital hd maybe you wont need hd cable just depends on signal strength of over the air broadcast. go to www.checkhd.com to find your locals.

I have found that 16:9 tvs do a great job of scalling when changing 4:3 top 16:9. Make sure that component video cables are used, especially for the xbox and xbox 360.
