Sorenson 3.

    Hi,

    Some AVI files I've burned to compilation disc won't play on DVD player. D/loaded as QuickTime files (seven @approx 5 mins each) and converted to AVI with Super, burned with ImgBurn. After playback failure checked files with MediaInfo and noticed video stream is Sorenson 3 and audio MP3, same as source files. Tried to copy with Avidemux to MPEG4 but filter initialisation failed. All I know about Sorenson is that it's a compression app. Any ideas to get these pesky vids playing on disc?

    See if they will open in Virtualdub.
    Then set video/compression to divx or xvid and re-encode.

    Thanks davexnet, used AutoGK (VirtualDubMod), plays as Xvid.
