Hi, I finally got Soul Calibur (dvd-r)for my ps2 last night and tried it and the games plays, but here's the huge problem, the screen is black and white, and had that thing where it moves upward all the time? I don't know if I'm describing it right.. I thought this was the ISO's fault so I downloaded Marvel v.s Capcom 2 on a cd-r and Capcom v.s SNK 2 on a dvd-r those work perfect. I then downloaded Mortal Kombat Deception for ps2 and burned it and got the same problem as my Soul Calibur, is it my fault or the ISO's fault? and how can I fix it? Thanks. I am 100% sure the games I downloaded are not PAL By the way I am using- NCTS US Modchipped PS2 Nero to burn the games (except ones that I use CD-R I use Alcohol 120%) Sorry for all the questions!
There doesn't seem to be any other explanation than they must be PAL. Put the disc in your PC and look for the letters 'sles' or slus'. slus = ntsc sles = pal
Ye its the region lock i'm afraid. use the link in my signature and get another one of the correct region.
