Well i hve posted sum threads but both of them are stil pending Well it may be because of my late replys..... (i have sum internet problems and i m truely sorry) Ok in my last threads i've not made my problems simple 2 understand so now i'll just try 2 make it simple........... Well 1st of all i had Far Cry insticts with the trainer in it, and in my xbox i had a boXplorer software. So using that I replaced the evox.ini file which was in the far cry instincts dvd into the main evox.ini in the c: drive of xbox and then i rebooted xbox and the main menu comes fully black with 2 options:- 1. far cry instincts platinum edition 2. game trainers And i cannot choose them (when I press up ,down or anything else nothin happens). Well but my xbox can play games (just put the game in the xbox dvd tray and reboot then the game will work). So somewhere around this site i read about booting evoxdash in xbox and i did exactly what it was wriiten there and i've burnt it in a cdrw but my xbox cannot recognise it .....so if i burn the evoxdash.iso in a dvd, will the xbox be able to recognise it and from that ,can we run the applications stored in the xbox hard drive (well i've made a backup of the main evox.ini in the x: drive of my xbox).So if the xbox can run applications using this dvd , i can use the boXplorer software and replace the evox.ini stored in the x: drive back to the c: drive........................ WILL THIS IDEA WORK???? PLS REPLY FAST
if you have the softmod saves (linux installer saves) you can put whatever game you used to softmod back-in and use the filemanager thats built into the softmod installer..... other than that if your xbox boots back-ups then your idea should work aswell...
Actually the game had a trainer in it and whenever i put the game in my xbox the xbox used 2 recognise it as an Evox DVD!.................. and i had no intention of soft modding my xbox again since i had already softmodded it..... i just replaced the evox.ini file in the far cry instincts DVD into the main xbox evox.ini Hey and by the way thanx for helpin me
