First off sorry if this has been posted. I tried to find something about it and couldn't so I am asking the question. I installed Nero 6 Ultra onto my moms computer, reset the computer, then copied a movie I own to the computer to make a copy of it. The problem comes when I use Nero Recode 2 and get to Burn Settings. For some reason under the Destination option all that will come up is Hard Disk Folder and Image Recorder. It won't list the dvd burner as an option. Everything went fine when installing Nero, decrypting the movie, and getting to this point. I just don't know why it doesn't see the burner there. It is a pioneer dvd burner and is about 6 months old. Any help is appreciated.
Hi kneegrow Which version of 6 are you using? Like 6.6.1.4 or 6.6.0.18 Was the Nero Ultra a retail purchase or was it an oem that came from another drive you bought? Does the dvd burner show up as a drive in 'my computer'? Do other apps in Nero Like Burning Rom or Express show the burner as a target device? You can also try this - unisntall Nero (write down serial 1st) run the clean tool than reinstall version 6.6.0.18.
