Ive modded my psp, ps2, ipod, and phone. Now i want to mod another console, but i need to know if i can burn games like the ps2, but play xbox games, and play them on the xbox, or do i have to have a hard drive. If i need a hard drive im not really interested.

In other words, original XBox hardware will never play PS2 games. Period. There needs to be a wider hardware gap for that, the language is simply too different.
Its called a softmod. There is a nice tutorial here on AD by chunkhead. It has the necessary files to download. You need Action Replay and one of 3 games to launch the softmod installer. Then you have to learn how to FTP so you can copy the game from the xbox to your pc.
