Tried to back up Band of Brothers - I have at least 10 coasters no success. DVD Decrypter said no protection - then found 2 on the fly and tried to extract the keys - sent to Shrink - Shrink said 4G produced 5G - too large. Tried Fab Decrypter it didn't complain but Shrink errored off from Fab's output. Ran DVDClone2 it acted as though no protection but in the burn step errored off claiming bad media. I tried 2 different brands of blanks no luck. Any thoughts??
I did that series with DVD43 and Recode2 with no problems... Transcoded entire dvd to dvd, removed subtitles and all but 5.1 audio, and then lowered quality for menus and extras as low as it would allow to gain quality on main movie. Those backups turned out marvelously on 8X TY burned at 8X...
