Hi Guyz I was just messin around on my pc wen the sound just went. just like that it was just gone. the speakewrs couldn't have blown cause they're still quite new. and when i check the wee thingamajig in the botton left hand corner( the small speaker ican ) everything is on and not on mute or anything. the sliders are all also on medium power.. i'm really confused and a computer is not the same without sound : ¬ ( If anyone can help thanx Nic
Check ur sound driver -right click on "My Computer" and click on "Properties" -go to "Device Manager" -find your sound driver on the list there and click to see its properties. -on the properties windows, it should tell you if there are any problems with the sound driver. if not it should say "this device is working property" or something along those lines. another thing: if u are using win ME make sure "Enable in all hardware profiles" is checked. oh yeah and also update your sound driver.
When you say you were 'messin around on my pc' what where you doing ? Have you tried the Speakers on another comptuer, or even a DiscMan/MP3 Player or the like to check and see if they work. Regards CoZZa
I'll bet you he was looking at massive amounts of porn. Because I hear your sound goes out when you look at massive amounts of porno! Actually it happened to my friend awhile back. He had to reboot his computer 5,000,000 times to get his sound back. I suggest you get started my friend.
