Sound Crackling

    Hey Guys.

    I have a huge problem here.

    My PC is pumping out some awful sound. i get a high pitched noise (like you hear when the TV screen is fuzzy) and a lot of cut-outs and crackling. this is happening constantly. it isn't my speakers as i have tried 3 different sets. is it my sound card?

    If you have any knowledge, please help

    It does sound like your sound card. I hate using System Restore, but you could try that to see if it clears up the problem.

    try reseating the card if is a pci card.
