SOUND FOR PC,no sound for dvd player

    Hi,I was wondering i just converted a dvd to vcd and burnt it on a cdr disc,but the problem i'm having is everything is fine when it plays on my comp.When i try to play in my sony dvd player picture is good,but i have no sound at all.I converted it in this order......smartripper,dvd2avi,TMPGEnc,and finally i burnt it with nero.So can some1 PLEASE HELP A FRIEND IN NEED and i mean in NEED!!!!!!!!!

    What kind of DVD player have you got??

    I am just a newbie, but I just had the same problem a few days ago. If your DVD player has an option to change from stereo to mono audio, try it. It was that simple for me.

    hmm thats an odd fix but from now on i'll recommend ppl try it if they have that problem!
