sound gone

the sound is gone on all my channels, the codes r ok, can any one help me please

 

check your scart lead is in properly at the back of the b0x & Tv.

 

yes it is, it was the 1st thing i checked

Have you checked the mute isnt active or box or TV? After that try a different scart lead as Noel said.

put in a new scart lead, no change

 

try turning the b0x off at the back for a minute, & turn back on & see if that works.

And mute buttons are not engaged? Take the cable feed out of the SV and plug it directly into the TV, do you get sound now on the FTA channels?

 

yes iv got ordinary ntl on and the sound is perfect

 

Strange alright try the other scart connect marked video/dvd on the back of the SV.

lol, are you sure you havent got the volume all the way down on the sv remote?

 

now my dvd is wrkin thru tat scart as well and d sound is on, wud it b sumin 2 do wit my remote

Turn the SV off then back on again from the back switch.
