when i encode with dvd copy plus certain movies like mallrat and national lampoon van wilder, the sound is choopy and is not in sync. please help me i'm out of idea i try every thing from the tech support
What format are you encoding to? (DivX=MPEG4, VCD=MPEG1, SVCD=MPEG2)What encoder are you using? Shoey
the format is svcd=mpeg2 and i also tried vcd=mpeg1. the encoder is dvdx. it is ether with the ripping or the encoding that the problem occurs. when i rip the movie and play it, it seems fine but after i encode the audio and vidio fall out of sync and the sound is broked up. but this only happens with certain movies and certain scenes seem to triger it.
If you're backing up SVCD then you would use encoders such as CCE (Cinema Craft Encoder) or TMPEnc Plus or Canopus ProCoder. If you're backing up to VCD then you would use TMPEncd encoder. If you're backing up DivX(AVI) then you would use the DivX 5x encoder m8. Use a freeware program called DVD2SVCD to backup SVCD(MPEG2). For VCD, use a freeware program called Eazy VCD and for DivX, use Vidomi. I don't have the links at the moment because I just recntly upgraded my cpu= redo my system. Shoey
