First of all I am using XviD-1.1.0-30122005 wiht Auto Gordon Knot. I am trying to convert my Eurotrip dvd to xvid. The eurotrip isnt encoded at all as it was originally copied from my own retail copy of the eurotrip dvd, it is region free and copy-protection free. The problem that I am having is that some dvds come out with the video lagging behind the sound 1 second or a little less. has anyone had this happen? I converted my copy of Anchorman(also from a back-up copy of the original dvd) and it plays fine, also Van Wilder converted fine, with an exception to the video size. With auto gordon knot, i am having trouble with the aspect ratio on some movies. National Lampoon's Van Wilder copied fine, the sound was perfectly insinc wih the video...but the video was squished into a 4:3 box instead of the 16:9 with the black bars at the top. Any help is greatly appreciated
also iforgot to mention that the video cuts off early in Anchorman. The only problems i have with anchorman is that it cuts off early.
what programs did you use to rip Anchorman and National Lampoon's Van Wilder, you might try dvd shrink, also you will need another program to remove the copyprotection, also vso convertxtodvd is a great converter
Using XviD 1.1 won't work well with newer AutoGK builds since they are designed for patched 1.2 builds. Doesn't explain sync problems though. Usually due to the ripping.
