    Greetings all,
Recently purchased an iPod and also purchased Xillisoft for DVD transfer to iPod. Converting seems quite simple, of course one little problem. When I watch the movie on the iPod, the sound will stop playing after approximately one to two minutes into the movie. If I stop the movie by pressing the menu button(on the iPod) and then return to the movie, the sound returns only to stop playing after another minute or so. All settings on the xillisoft program are the "stock" settings, with the only modification being that I "checked" the box for audio/video synch. under Properties. The Profile setting I chose> iPod(60G)MPEG-4 Movie (*.mp4) Also checked the obvious of headphone to iPod connection.

I tried looking under the search tab on this forum but the search engine is not operating. I read through this post:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272081
very helpful but didn't seem to address my particular problem.

I have tried 2 separate DVD's Predator and Godfather. Both do the same thing. Also is their any thread describing what each thing does in the Properties section of Xillisoft, i.e. break it down in layman's terms for the not so computer savvy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can play the mp4 file fine using Quicktime or iTunes on your computer, I think the conversion is completed and successful.
Your iPod's firmwire is latest version 1.1.1?

    On iPod it says, 1.1
    Is 1.1.1 different?
