I have an avi video and, even when I play it from my hard drive, the audio is a few seconds behind the video. Suggestions for a fix before burning?

    Thanks.

Are you going to burn it as data, for storage, or convert it, and burn as (S)VCD/DVD?

I want to burn it to a DVD, but first I watched it with my Cyberlink PowerDVD and saw the delay in the audio.

See if you can set audio start delay in your authoring application.
If not, you can rip audio, then set up delay in something like Goldwave, save it, then add it back during authoring.
Alternatively, you can open the avi in virtualdub, set the delay, then frameserve it, or save an intermediate avi.

I use Nero for burning and I don't think it allows for this variation, but I do have VirtualDub and will see if I can do this.

    Thanks.

if your using dvd-lab *IF*, there is a function under tools to set the delay of audio with movie... and move it forward if slower...
