downloaded 2 films from newsgroup in MPG file. Files play fine on PC on real player, however when I convert to Video CD using Nero the sound is out of Sync. Any ideas ??
i would suggest that if the movies are out of sync on an vcd dvd player that you check that it is not the player itself. many cheaper players will play the audio out of sync. alternatively try loading the file on to your hard drive then play it if it plays ok most likely your player.
i have almost the same problem my file plays fine on my kazaa or windows media player but when i burn it to vcd the soundis about ten seconds late and gets worse towrads the end of the movie. they do the same thing if i play the vcd on the media player so i know its not the dvd player its the burn process but what is wrong i dont know. sincerly confused ed-d
Use a program like Virtual Dub to rip a wav file first. http://www.virtualdub.org/ Then, in Tmp, just use the wav file for the audio field when you pick what files to encode with the wizzard. This has fixed my synch problems.
