Sound problem with virtualdub

    i have a problem which is i get no sound when capturing videos from my Panasonic MiniDV With VirtualDub as i like to use this program instead of the one that comes with my camera called (MotionDV STUDIO LE for DV),that captures video and sound but have lots of other problems.
    with VirtualDub i am using USB2 interface to capture the video, so it's a different situation from most of the members here are reporting as it seems they are using TV tuners cards, Please help

    I'd suggest using another app and capturing via firewire direct to DV. If you want something free you could try WinDV.

    Thanks for ur reply.
    Unfortunately i dont have a firewire card, i also tried windv and other programs too but it seems they only work with firewire.
    As when i use Windv i get couldn't find device capture pin error.
