sound sync

    I was trying to encode an AVI with VBR audio to MPEG2. As per FAQ's here I processed the AVI file with VDUB to uncompress the audio. The MPEG file however still has an audio lag. I am using CCE for encoding.
    What else is there that i could be missing?

    I just noticed that I am encoding an NTSC source into PAL. When I leave the fps setting at 23.97 the audio sync is fine.
    Is there something i am doing wrong? O ris ther a way to convert to PAL standard without the audio getting out of sync?
