After tinkering with a while I got the sound to play completely without cutting out like it had been. But now the video is at LEAST 5 minutes behind the sound when it's burned onto disc. The videos aren't the problem, I've tried this with several burnt discs and several video files, and personally, I'm tired of waiting on discs, and I'm tired of using a product if it's not going to work. I'll put up my settings and see if anyone knows what's wrong. Also the videos I burn are all .Avis.

    Nero Vision 4
    Make DVD-Movie
    NeroSmart Encoding Automatic
    Aspect Ratio:Automatic
    Quality: Fit to Disc
    Sample Formate: Automatic
    Encoding: High Quality (2-Pass VBR)
Video Format MPEG 2(This is grayed out and can't be changed)
    Audio Format: Automatic.

Any clue of what to do?

Nero has had some problems with certain types of .avi files and sound sync. What it seems is most suggested is to use another utility to convert the .avi file to mpeg2 prior to loading into NeroVision 4.

You might try exporting it in NV4 and then re-inserting it, but I don't think that has worked all that well.

Only other thing would be to try different sound settings, which you may have already done. Those files come in different recorded formats, so you might keep track of which ones give you problems and see if you can change the way they are recorded, or get them from another site.
