Hi, my wife pc stops playing sound every time it shuts down. On restart u have to go into bios load fail safe press y, into peripherals then down list to bottom and disable ata, save and exit. this works fine till next shutdown and then u have to do it all again. Help
take a look in the bios & see if the time & date is correct because if not & is way off then the cmos battery needs replacing, that might correct your problem.
is the board still under warranty as ran into somewhat same problem with a board that had a good battery but default everything on startup? could check to see if there is a bios update that might correct the problem thou kinda of doubt it.
