Wife nuked the boot sector of the hard drive, swapped out for an older drive, looked to install a bug-free version of Nero and found this file hosting site which offers one source of what appears to be legitimate versions of programs, the site is called www.filehippo.com anyone else ever use this site? Even has DVDDecrypter.
I get a great program called CCleaner from filehippo. The site is clean (not a lot of popups), and it is easy to find your download. I love that site.

Look to the right hand side of the page, they list previous versions of the program all the way back to 7.0.1.2 a one stop place for downloads. kinda cool.
