Ever since I replaced the lcd in my Compaq nc 6000, when I press the spacebar the window will either maximize or minimize and not with the alt pressed. I had to remove the keyboard to install the new screen and it started after that. I have disabled quicklaunch and stickykeys to no avail. I am going to try XP recovery console and maybe that will do it (I doubt it). No physical damage done to the keyboard when it was removed. Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so... what the f.......? Mark
this sounds kinda weird, try to go to the control panel and select the keyboard option from there. Try to select a default setting if you can. I dunno if this will help but it's pretty much all i can think of. GL
Thanks... yah tried that. There isn't a reset defaults in my keyboard control panel. I'm going to try to update my Windows and see if that may help.
