Hello folks! I already ripped the Spanglish DVD to my harddrive using DVD Decrypter, but have a lots of trouble burning it to my DVD-R. The instructions that I have for DVD decrypter don't help me out.
Is there is any other way how to burn it from my harddrive to the DVD?

assuming you have compressed the image with an app like dvd shrink
or you are writing to dual layer dvd-r's click the mode button then select iso write. then select the iso image by clicking the folder icon and then click the big button that shows the hdd to the dvd if this helps let us know

Not sure if I compressed the image, but what I did, I ripped the images to my harddrive using DVD Decrypter. The fies that I ripped are:
    VTS_07_1.vob
    VTS_07_2.vob
    VTS_07_3.vob
    VTS_07_4.vob
    VTS_07_5.vob

I just ripped the movie, no additional features. I can see the movie from my harddrive, but I can't burn it to a DVD-r.
I tried to do what you told me but I get an error saying "Invalid or unsupported image file format".

Dvd decrypter won't burn vob files. You have to convert them to ISO first to burn with DVDD.

    hi

are these the only files you have?

    VTS_07_1.vob
    VTS_07_2.vob
    VTS_07_3.vob
    VTS_07_4.vob
    VTS_07_5.vob

as you need ifo and bup files too!

first time i saw main movie vobs with 07 its usually 01

load to dvd shrink to compress to fit a dvdr5 size then hit backup it can use dvd decrypter 's burn engine to finish off

As Rotary suggested, you need to start over. I suggest you rip with Decrypter in ISO read mode. Do the entire movie. Once that is completed, Use Shrink to compress. Shrink can use DVD Decrypter's burn engine to finish. There is a way to automate this function in Shrink:

After you complete re-authoring in Shrink and select Backup!, a menu will open. The Target Device tab will have an option to Select backup target. Set this to "ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter. Finish setting your Backup DVD options, put in your blank disc, select OK and Shrink/Decrypter will do the rest.

There is an entire thread devoted to Spanglish. It's stickied. You may want to look at it.

Did this movie a couple of days ago - easy puppy - just rolls over and wants to play.

Rip with DVD Decrypter - open files in DVD Shrink and use reauthor mode to get rid of unnecessaary garbage. This brings the file size down to less that 4GB - use Nero to burn.

    @ colw,
You mentioned the size of the movie after removing the extra stuff...Less than 4 gig. I seem to see a lot more movies like that...more than half the capacity is filled with garbage. They could put their movie on a DVD-5 and keep all the deleted scenes, actor interviews, director interviews, special effects and games.

    @ Rotary,
It's all good! Building a few websites for fun lately including the infamous "New" DVD Decrypter site that is currently banned from putting a link to here at AD. I'm trying to legitimize the site. Probably going to be impossible though. Time will tell.

I actually have a copy of the site online: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/New DVDD/index.html it is identical to what the site currently looks like. The forum link will take you to the current forum. Not much to be had there.

I don't think there is much hope for the actual site although the counter I put there yesterday does indicate a lot of traffic. Lost souls looking for the original I suppose.
