I modded my ps2 and it got straight up messed up, then i repaired it and for a while the only problem was disk read errors, now im seein orangish sparks thru the front vent i think its got to do with the power supply, v7 ps2 magic v modchip....also everytime i play a backup, it freezes, and when i play originals i get music skips etc... ive taken it in for lens adjustment and cleaning... still it skips and freezes...
If there's sparks man, u better stop playing with it and get a professional to help see the problem. Your Ps2 might blow up in your face, lol.
hahahh lol i know this post is old but the "sparks ur talkin bout is not sparks its a lil light i dont know wut for but it blinks
lol , thats the light for the hdd just like the 1 on the front of your pc (its on the ps2 mobo). even if you dont have a hdd in your ps2 but you have a network adapter pluged in that light will come on for a second because the ps2 is looking for it . if you have a hdd installed it will flash all the time when you are using it
