I have my computer's sound going to my receiver via a SPDIF out on my Audigy 2 Platinum. I'm only getting sound through the front right and left speakers (5.1 setup). I also have my PS3, Cable Box, and DVD player hooked up to it and get sound to all speakers. My receiver recognizes the connection as digital and displays PCM 96. There doesn't seem to be a way to get it to use Dolby ProLogic II on it though. I can turn it on and off with the other connections but I can't change it at all with this.

You might try the high def audio forum. I do recall seeing problems like yours addressed some where but I can't recall where.

I'm sorry about the wasted thread, I figured it out. On my Creative Audio Console I had my PCM sampling rate to 96khz, I switched it to 48khz and now my receiver is able to use ProLogic II on it. It's sweet, hearing the vocals coming from the center speaker, etc... Anyway, thanks again and if anybody had the same issue by some chance, there you go.
