I am looking for an MP3 organizing program, preferably freeware, that will check MP3 albums I have and verify that they have the correct number of tracks and that the length of the MP3s are correct and such, as compared to the actual album. Also, is there any program that can check MP3s for little bumps and skips due to a bad rip? It would be a lot easier than listening to every MP3 I have to make sure it's palatable. Thanks!
hmm... sound like supercomputer material... theres nothing like that that I know of, although i know the most burning software can detect skips with write-errors. I don't know though. I usually just listen to everything, and when I find an 'invalid song' i just hop on over to itunes...
I see, I see. It looks like I just have to check allmusic.com or something everytime if I want to verify that the mp3 album has all the tracks. Oh well, nothing to lose sleep over.
