Hi, I'm hoping somebody could give me a clue as to what the problem may be burning discs. A couple of weeks ago, my burning speed drastically dropped on my ND-3500AG. DVD's went from burning at 3-4x all the way down to 0.8x, and CD's went from 24x down to 7-8x. I'm still using the same media. I don't think anything major was installed on windows xp pro, but the most drastic thing done was create a partition and install Linux(Fedora) on a dual-boot. The drive is set to "Use DMA if possible", current Ultra DMA Mode 2... but I'm admittedly clueless as to why everything has dropped so low. If anybody has any ideas I'd really really appreciate it.
