I recently recieved an xbox that is chiped the chip is called spider when i turn on the console everything loads no errors and the light on the chip is on though it is still unable to read burnt games, what could be the issue ?
does it have a custom dash? .. and how are you burning these games.. what on to? did you see it actually work before you paid for it?
Sorry I'm all new to this xbox world, Custom dash ? How could I find this out, also the games are burnt on DVD-R, It worked perfectly prior to the shipment
The chip has probably come adrift from being moved.. specifically the D0 connection. you won't be the first person to have problems with the nasty "pogo pins" http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/139340
