I im buying a modchip for my 1.4 xbox. But im strictly staying with solderless ones. So can everyone give me their opinions about the Spider Chip (Good or Bad) with an explanation.
1. it's a 256K modchip, one bank only 2. it has a soldered flash chip, cannot be replaced 3. the spring wires are useless in a v1.4. well, not totally useless, you will use 1 out of the 5. 4. price, do not compare it against Xecuter 2.6, X3, Xenium, XBIT, or Smartxx, they are in different categories as far as features are concerned. For the good side, 1. the external switch 2. the pogopin 3. the pinheader 4. the one big screw hole, that is so big that they could not find the right sized screw to ship with it...
