I recently purchased a spiderchip 1.1 and installed it. I have it finally to where the blue LED light stays lit. The only problem at this point is the xbox seems to frag upon boot up after it makes three attempts to boot normal. After it reboots three times it does the flashing red and green frag. I did triple check to make sure the E wire is in the D0. I also cut all the other wires since the xbox is a 1.0 and not needed. I did solder out the LPC holes which are prefilled in the 1.0 xboxes. Any suggestions? Ideas? All help is appreciated.
check the D0 solder point. If you can solder the D0. Also spider chip is not a good chip since it does not sit tight on the motherboard. I just fix my friend's xbox that had a spider chip in it. It was his D0 that caused the same problem that you have. I remodded his xbox with Xecuter 3CE and now it works nicely. cheers
