Hi... I've got a 1.1 SpiderChip on my v1.0 Xbox console and when I installed it, it was all fine. I've looked all the guides to get it to work and done without no problems... The problem is that now, almost a year later, my xbox frags.... I've seen the pins and are alligned with the LPC and all ok... but the strange is that when I move and transform the cable that connects the switch has, the xbox works... it works until a time then it frags again... I move the cable and it works again.... Anyone knows how to fix or why does it do that? Appreciate any help! Thanks!
I've had the same problem after 5 months already. after i moved home my box refuses to work at all. the spiderchip is a fragile thing as it doesn't stick on the main board properly. now my xbox doesn't work at all, even without the chip!? my advice: get a solder chip.
