    ok
    Im using a lite-on SHM-165P6S DVDRW
and im copying with Datawrite Titanium 8x DVD-R Printables
Im copying from backups, not originals so im just using nero to brun the discs.
The copies ive produced work perfectly once they get going, however ive tried them on 3 DVD players now and they seem to spin for a long time before they start up, once they are playing they are fine.
Does anyone know a cure for this?
    Cheers

I would try using the plus R format instead of the dash format and booktyping them to DVD-ROM. You'll notice that they'll load much faster.
I checked and your burner does support the booktype setting.
    Have a look at this:

It could also be a media problem as Rob1026 said. If you use good media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and booktype the plus format to DVD-ROM, you shouldn't have any problems.
