I am at the moment dumping an image of Splinter Cell CD3 with Alcohol 120% (newest version) using the SafeDisk 2 option. It has now been going for about 1 hour 30 min and it just came to 2%. The block/speed 7200(14.9mb)/0.1X.... And im getting heaps of disc read errors. My question is: Does anybody know how many disc read errors are on the Splinter Cell CD3? Have I done something wrong since its going so f**king slow? Should I stop the process now or let it continue(hopefully someone will answer soon... )? Will I be able to get a 1:1 copy with my burner? Are there any other suggestions to making a 1:1 copy?? Thanks guys!
It is [bold] common to get read errors [/bold] when reading any image of Safedisc 2.8.x- 2.9.x so ignore them. Use your dvd\cd-rom to read the image(s) of Splinter Cell using the Safedisc 2 datatype profile then burn max. Play the backup [bold] in your dvd\cd-rom, not your burner. [/bold]. There are approximately 10,000 bad sectors (right at the beginning) and some "pre-gap" in the first 150 sectors.
