Hello all and thank you in advance for reading. I have been caught up in the softmod bandwagon. After googleing for hours and reading MANY Tut's of softmoding i decided to try it out. So next was my shopping list and 45$ later i cam home with the nessary equpiment. Action Replay MAX(latest version) Xbox system link cable. Splinter Cell for Xbox. And after a quick vist to #xbins i got the stuff. ltools_v1.7.5_SC_NTSC Now i Un-rared the file and with action replay open drug part one and 2 into the memorey card. and i know you need to get the latest Kernal by goiing on xbox live, but i go on halo 2 every nite so no problem. K:1.00.5838.01 D:1.00.5960.01 So with both copyed to the HDD i went and loaded up Splinter cell, Loaded campain, then the first thing i did was hit "B" and then Selected "Back-Up" my screen went to a sort-of Command promt then 3/4 of the screen went green and the top 1/8 black. Now i am stuck, i dont what i did wrong or if i didnt Download something. So i read some more online and decided to try agian with another APP called "Softmod.installer.Deluxev2.0" Then said "Not enoph room" so i couldent put both in and now i am here. so if anyone could help me that would be exellent! Well i guess it did have a problem backing up becuse i tryed to restore back to MS after installing evox becuse i wanted to play live and i guess nothing backed up becuse i loaded it up aftre restoring and got error screen 13 and i cannot go to live becuse of the stupid LTools set the IP to manuall. well if anyone can help me that wouls be great i cannot install evox becuse it said cannot find update.xbe please!!
just go to on ur computer and go to control panel go to internet someting and go to network settings (network someting) hen once that pops up click on the 2 computers icon and then go to the second tab on the top and then just click on the tab below the fisrt paragraph and type in all the shit u need cuz itz right there it shoud have ip address, subnet mask, DNS server, everything u flipen need for any kind of stuff that nedds that shit
well i have the action replay card thing nd i wanted to try the modding thing so i selected soft mod copied that onto my hardrive nd i dont kno wat to do help me out this is for halo 2 so i can whoop my friends with mods
oh yea byy the way i dont understand the whole splinter cell thing i was told before i want that explained to me
