Would like to run 2 avi files simultaneously, one over the other, in order to compare the difference between movies. Is there software that will do this??

a cheap suggestion is to open each file in a separate windows media player window and lay them over each other on the desktop, then use alt+tab or the menu bar to hop between the images whilst playing- persistence of vision should give you a good idea of which is better quality/contrast/colours etc.. or is that too lo-tech?
