ok, i got a 4 gig mpeg video. i want to transfer this video to my ps3 via my 2(1.70) gig jump drive. i want to split the video into 3 or 4. any program that will allow me to do this. ive tried many freeware programs that claimed to do it but all didnt work or didnt recognize the file.any help
It would be helpful and work faster if you would actually say what software you have tried already.... Have you tried : http://www.doeasier.org/splitter/ You can also try AVidemux, it works great with AVIs,but I think it had problems with syncing audio/video in split mpeg files(maybe it has been fixed with the new updates).
ok i got Avidemux 2.4 Qt4 to split the video, but the split video is not mpeg, or any video file, it is simply a "file". what do i do????
That's because you did not add an extension to the saved file. Avidemux does not add the extension, you need to save the as whatever_name_you_want.mpg
