splitting downloaded movies to burn with nero

    how do you split movies to burn on nero? i am new at this. i want to burn traffic onto disc but nero says it is too large. how do i put it on 2 discs??? please help.

    If its an avi then open it in virtualdub and make a selection of the video stream of the first half of the movie (use the last two buttons in the list of buttons in virtualdub. then click video - direct stream copy, click audio - direct stream copy and click file - save avi. Now save it as traffic1 or whatever, go back and make the second selection and save it as traffic2 if you get what i mean. lol

    i used TMPGENC and got it figured out, thanks for your ideas:)

    Good, I would have told you to use TMPGEnc if you had needed extra help because basically, Nero can't encode properly!
