Is there anyway I can split up an iso file? I ripped a documentary I have, but I only want to put a certain part of it on disc.

    ISOBuster will break it apart.

Any DVD authoring program should allow you to edit out what you don't want as well.

as far as the download thing, you're probably gonna have to wait for the full 100%. For the ISO viewing thing, get Daemon Tools and create a virtual drive and mount the ISO to it. Unless you know the DVD structuring though it may not help too much.

If you don't want menus you can use Shrink and it will figure out what's what on the disc.

yea i dont know about the virtual drive, and all i can see is folders for my audio and then the vob or whatever.

would it be easier to convert my iso to an avi or mpeg - and then edit that?

i know theres easier programs to edit on those formats

if so, you know any programs that will lead me in the right direction

im sorry, i have little to no knowledge in this department

    thanks

check out dvd lab pro or tmpgenc they both have free trials. Those will allow you to edit without really converting formats around, so you shouldn't lose video quality.

The virtual drives thing is simple once you do it. It sounded kinda complicated to me at first too, but it's really easy.
