Spoofed Drive- Update- Advice?

Hey I have an Xbox360 which did have a Liteon drive , but now has a Benq In it, I tried to update but it stops at the end ( i belive spoofed drives have a problem with the new dash)

So I have read around and it says to flash the benq with the stock Benq Firmware, is this correct? Do I need to extract the key out of my current CFW and inject it into the new Benq stock firmware?

or do I just flash the Benq stock firmware straight away and then update the dash and then put my LT 1.9 when it comes out?

no you need to have the drive that it came with and flash it to the stock FW.

 

Not exactly. Just the same drive that came with it. Clearly doesn't matter if it's the ORIG drive as long as it the same type.

 

but wouldnt it brick the console in his case?
