Spoofing Lite-on before Flash is it possible?

I have a samsung drive that isn't working so I need to purchase another drive. I know the Liteon is the only one that has updated firmware. In my scenario I would

1. spoof the Lite-On drive with the samsung key keeping original firmware intact

2. Get update or what ever else I needed off of xbox live.

3. Flash liteon drive with the newest firmware

4. Be content but cautious

Is this possible? Apologies if I'm beating the same dead horse I just have a short attention span and get very confused with other scenarios.

you can not spoof a liteon drive at all.. so no there is no way to do what your asking.

 

Ok I had a feeling. Its because of the key right? Oh well I guess I'm going to look into benq then since something should be coming up soon for that one.
