    Hi LOCOENG. You got some infections.

    You have two antivirus programs running. This can cause problems.

    Go to Control Panel -> Add or remove programs -> Remove AVG OR Norton (I recommend that you remove AVG especially if you have a paid lisence to Norton)

    Cleaning instructions: (please follow carefully)

    Move HijackThis.exe to its own folder C:\HJT

    Disable Spybot S&D's Teatimer

    Download and install Ewido, UPDATE it, but do NOT run a scan yet. -> http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

    Donwload smitrem to your desktop >
    http://noahdfear.geekstogo.com/click counter/click.php?id=1
    Doubleclick it and press Start, smitrem folder appears to the desktop.

    Download FixSF.reg to your desktop ->
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/reg/FixSF.reg
    Doubleclick it and answer yes to any questions.

    Restart your computer to the safe mode (Press F8 button when computer is starting and choose safe mode)

    Go to Control Panel -> Add or remove programs -> Remove if found: IncrediFind, eUniverse, XoftSpy, SpyFalcon (IF you are asked to restart your computer, DO NOT restart. )

    Run HijackThis and fix these entries (if found): (Do a system scan only, check entries, close all other windows, press Fix checked)

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: HomepageBHO - {4da4616d-7e6e-4fd9-a2d5-b6c535733e22} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp218D.tmp (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PD6000StatusMonitor] C:\WINDOWS\System32\PD6000SM.EXE
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present (if you haven't blocked access to internet explorer settings, do not fix this entry)

    Make your hidden files visible:
    ->On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
    ->Click the View tab.
    ->Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

    Delete these folders if found:
    C:\Program Files\-->SpyFalcon
    C:\Program Files\-->IncrediFind
    C:\Program Files\ -->eUniverse
    C:\Program Files\-->XoftSpy

    Delete these files if found:
    C :\Windows\System32\-->dxmpp.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\-->ginuerep.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\-->hp218D.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\-->PD6000SM.EXE

    Then go to the smitrem folder on your desktop, run RunThis.bat file and follow the instructions.

    Empty the Recycle Bin

    Make your hidden files invisible again:
    ->On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
    ->Click the View tab.
    ->Under Hidden files and folders, click Do not show hidden files and folders.

    Scan and clean your computer with Ewido, SAVE a log file.

    Restart you computer normally.

    Post a new HijackThis log, Ewido's log and log from C:\smitfiles.txt to here and we'll see if you are clean.

    Hi,
    Right click and save as to save it. That's because it's showing the reg entries that will be entered into your registry once you open it from your desktop.

    Regards,
    DiRect

    Ok. Looks good =)

    There is that one suspicious file. It seems to belong to Norton but why is it in a temp folder....

    Do this:

    Make your hidden files visible:
    ->On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
    ->Click the View tab.
    ->Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.

    Go to http://www.virustotal.com
    -> Press Browse
    -> Search this file (if found)C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\-->symlcsv1.exe
    -> OK and Send
    -> Post the results to here so we can see if it is clean

    And delete that shortcut but don't click it.

    Ewido found many cookies. You could clean those with Firefox by clearing your browsing history, cookies etc.

    Thanks, I'll try that when I get home...I thought I had Firefox setup to remove cookies each time I exit the program, I'll double check it.

    I was wondering about this one too, don't know what it is or if I need it...

    And this one...

    Both of those just look nasty for some reason, anywho thanks again for all your help and I'll get back to you with the other results you requested asap.

    If you ever need help with Nero, DVD Shrink or DVD's let me know I'll give you all the help I can.

    If you want, you can fix these with HijackThis (those are not required start-ups)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IgfxTray] C:\WINDOWS\System32\igfxtray.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iTunesHelper] C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NeroFilterCheck] C:\WINDOWS\system32\NeroCheck.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AnyDVD] D:\AnyDVD\AnyDVD.exe

    Those 09 entries are NOT bad so don't fix those.

    Your log looks clean but check that one file in virustotal and post me the results.

    And I'll remember your name if I have questions about Nero or DVD's.

    And you are welcome =)
