I have many spyware, adware and lots of other garbage on my computer and wanted to see if anyone has any good feedback or suggestions for a good and reliable spyware program. Seems that every other week someone is coming out with a new one and it's hard to keep on top with a reliable one and can get somewhat confusing. I did notice Xoftspy v3.4 at www.paretologic.com/xoftspy, just wanted to make sure I was making the correct choice before I spend my $$$. Does any one have suggestions or insights???
Go to ==>: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html and get CWShredder ~~ while you are there also get HijackThis . 1) run CWShredder -- reboot and see if your malware has been taken care of. 2) if it is still there -- run Hijack this , save the log and post it on http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ , within minutes someone will reply with the proper sequence to cure your PC. -- It could be me or one of the 100's of benevolent helping there. ~~smiles ! As for preventing the malware from reaching your computer -- Spyware Guard is an excellent piece of software as long as you update it on a weekly basis.
