I downloaded the two Antivirus-Antispyware programs that i could find on this site because my Norton Antivirus expired and until i could go out and buy the newer updated version i just wanted to have protection. but ever since i installed them, my computer has been slowed down, i all of a sudden have problems i didnt have before with Viri and such, examples are Trojans and whatnot, and i don't know where they came from. Could the link for the download have been messed with, or how can i just fix this computer. I may not be new to computers, but i am new to fighting viri and this computer itself is only 2 months old, i dont want it falling apart. please, any suggestions would help. better antivirus software, antispyware. i just want the popups and the virus spread to stop.
@Timmybear...you've put thread in the wrong place; I'll ask a mod to move it. If you look a little further down on the formums page, you'll see a forum specifically for spyway, virus problems and so on with numerous freebees listed.

LOL! I've done the same thing many times...lots a smart guys in that section though; they'll help you out ... I only do home theater lol!
