I have a very old system with dual drives (C & D). I mostly use it for downloads. I left my "D" drive (which had W2000) running unattended, come back home and the screen was frozen. I had to restart and when I did, i was asked for the administrator's password. I used every possible password I could remember, but no luck. When I F8 into safemode, I'm asked again for the adm password and I'm unable to go into the bios (F12). I've tried booting from operating system cd, but no luck. If I logon to the other OS (which is "C"), of course, I can't see "D". It must be some type of spyware that had caused this problem. I'm not familiar with Ophcrack (sp?). I am wondering if there is a spyware program that will run upon boot. I'm clueless and all suggestions will be apprecited.

    Thanks in advance.

ntpwedit will allow you to edit the SAM file and delete the current passwords. This works great for people that forget their password or have to get into a computer they are trouble shooting.

Make a UBCD4win CD. Boot from this CD and it will allow you to see both drives and access the internet. This CD has burner tool and the USB works so you can tranfers your data off this computer.
