i have spyware doctor installed on my computer about 3 years ago,i paid for that and downloaded on my computer,but now i keep on getting messages to renew it,why should i do it when i had already paid for the software,it is still on my computer,what can i do,it is still working
In short, the Spyware Doctor software "expires" after 1 year. It can still scan and do some other functions but I believe removal and updating are eliminated. No problem. I also believe it is being sold in stores so if you happen to see it at your local electronics store you could update/purchase it that way to.
If you were to get one app I list I would beg you to get this one. . . a-squared http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ It is a excellent tool and in my opinion better than most if not all free tools out there. There is also AVG Anti-Spyware. It was formerly ewido antispyware but was bought out by AVG.
