spyware infection

    my desktop displays message "spyware infection..." as desktop wallpaper and I cannot change it. I've run a few spyware softwrare and found spysherriff.. after cleaning everything out I tried changing my desktop wallpaper, but failed. pleeeeeease help

    Download -> http://www.billsway.com/vbspage/ registry search tool and make search with "desktop.html". If your antivirus warns,let it run. If no success, try "warnhp.html".

    Send the results of registry search.

    First take backup from registry

    Run -> regedit -> ok. Then File -> Export. Give it a name and then save

    Next save this text by name fix.reg in notepad and on desktop työpöydälle (save it in "all files"

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [-HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-823518204-706699826-725345543-1003\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

    Doubleclick, press Yes and ok. Reboot. And tell if it helped :)

    Here's what I did to solve the problem.. thank you,

    went to registry (regedit) did a normal search for desktop.html
    and found 4 instances of it..I deleted all the value that had desktop.html in them... rebooted... and then I got my desktop back..

    thank you very very much for you help.
