I have a squealing sound coming from my headphones constantly even when no programs are running,(ive tried 2 other sets of phones)
I have an asus p5k-vm motherboard with Realtek ALC883 audio.
ive tried updating the audio drivers but that doesnt help and my speakers do not have this problem.

ive tried meessing with the realtek hd audio manager but that so far hasnt helped.

the squeeling sound does not go up or down with volume.

this is a brand new computer.

anyone have any ideas what could be causing this problem and how to fix it?
