SRT accidental file association change

    i accidentally changed the way an .srt file is seen on my windows 7 machine and now subtitles arent working on windows media player. i went to open it with notepad and you know how there is a check box to always use this program to open it well i accidentally left it checked when i selected notepad and i dont know how to or what to change it back to to have that blank page icon next to it. can someone help?

    Thank you for your post. I followed the directions from the site you gave me and it didn't seem to work. All it did was make the icon slightly lighter but still has a notepad icon. it still doesn't work with windows media player.
