but I couldn't find a specific tutorial. I'm using dvd decrypter and then nero recode to back up a retail dvd, under the options in recode, I have changed some of the extras features to be black to save the quality of the overall movie, my question is: can I just get rid of the extras all together without having to replace it with a color or slideshow? Note: All I want is the menu and the main movie intact... Thanks
You can use dvdshrink to backup just the movie or replace extras with still pics. You can dl dvdshrink in the software section. Great program and free. And there are plenty of tutorials here @ A.D. to help you along.
In recode 2 highlight whatever you don't want and then click on disable then replace with still picture. You can't entirely remove the content because it will mess up the dvd structure.
