    Hi,

Looking to reformat and am considering adding an SSD drive with 240GB.

I did notice that I should have one that supports SATAIII (6Gbps)

    My M/B ( Gigabyte/GA-EP35C-DSR )only supports 3Gbs.

I am not ready to build another PC but am wondering how much the difference

    in performance this will make??

I will have the operating system, Win7 Ultimate - 64 bit and a few programs on the SSD.

You will see the difference when you benchmark the drive and wonder why you are not getting the speed advertised.
